Four styles, timed to every word

Hormozi and Bold light up each word as it's spoken. Clean and Minimal stay quieter. Change the font, colours and size on any of them.

The four caption styles: Hormozi, bold capitals, the spoken word in yellow; Bold, impact, the spoken word in orange; Clean, sentence case with a thin outline; Minimal, small and light, out of the way.

Caption a video in three steps

Captions come with every clip VisionSnip makes. Set the style once and every clip you export uses it.

  1. Upload a video

VisionSnip transcribes the whole thing, with a timestamp on every word, and suggests clips.

  2. Pick a style

Hormozi, Bold, Clean or Minimal, then adjust the font, text colour, highlight colour and size.

  3. Fix and export

Correct any misheard word in the caption editor, then download the clip with the captions burned in.

Timed to each word, grouped for reading

Because every word has its own timestamp, captions change exactly when the words are said. Each style shows a few words at a time: three for Hormozi and Bold, so the text can stay big, and five or six for Clean and Minimal, so it reads like a sentence.

Four styles, then make them yours

  • Hormozi: bold capitals, the spoken word in yellow
  • Bold: Impact capitals, the spoken word in orange
  • Clean: sentence case with a thin outline
  • Minimal: small and light, out of the way

On any style you can change the font, the text colour, the highlight colour and the size, from half to one and a half times the default. Or turn captions off altogether.

Fix words without touching the audio

Speech recognition gets most words right on clear audio, but names, brands and jargon can come out wrong. Open the caption editor to correct a word or drop it from the captions. Your edits are saved with the clip, and the audio stays exactly as it was.

Burned in, so they show everywhere

Captions are part of the exported video, so they look the same on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn or in a group chat, with nothing extra to upload. VisionSnip doesn't export separate subtitle files such as SRT at the moment.

Questions

Are the captions free?

Yes. All four caption styles and the caption editor are on every plan, including Free.

Can I get an SRT or VTT file?

Not at the moment. Captions are burned into the video, so they show on every platform without a separate file.

How accurate are the captions?

Most words come out right on clear speech. Names, brand names and technical terms are the usual mistakes, and you can fix them in the caption editor.

Can I turn captions off?

Yes. Choose no captions in the caption settings and the clip exports without them.

Do captions skip filler words?

When filler removal is on, “um”, “uh” and similar sounds are cut from the audio and the captions together, so the text matches what's heard.
